Adapting to Climate Change Workshop

As we reach the end of the London LCLIP project and year 2 of the LAA reporting period, it is an opportune time to bring together London Boroughs to review progress to-date and tackle some of the common challenges in progressing against NI188.

Funded by Defra’s Local and Regional Adaptation Partnership Board, this workshop is a ‘learn and do’ session so that delegates will leave with ideas and suggestions to help them raise their NI188 level.  The agenda has been designed in consultation with London Boroughs so that you get the most out of it. It will therefore be informal and interactive with a focus on peer-to-peer support, case studies and problem sharing and solving.

Workshop aims and objectives:

To help London Boroughs progress against NI188, Planning to Adapt to Climate Change, through:

  • creating an opportunity for discussion and sharing of information between peers
  • sharing good practice from London’s level 2 Boroughs
  • exploring some of the key issues around engaging upwards and sideways
  • discussing the requirements under risk assessments
  • promoting cross-boundary working

Venue: Government Office for London
Date: Wednesday, 3rd March 2010
Time: 9:30am – 3:10pm
